COCO series medium is a series of pulverized coconut shell medium or coco substrate supplied by Kaneko Seeds Co., Ltd.
They are manufactured in Sri Lanka under the license of Jiffy. Jiffy is one of the leading companies supplying coco substrates in the world.
Coconut shells are pulverized and washed thoroughly and adjusted EC and pH to be coco substrates. COCO series media are shipped to Japan after dried and compressed. They expand with water when they are in use. They are entirely natural product and safe to the environment.

COCO Bed M is a coco substrate expanded in the bed cases for use.
The substrate does not contain fertilizer and low EC. pH is adjusted for use.
Washing is not required and used directly from the packages.
It is commonly used for medium for cultivation of Japanese ginger.
It is especially suitable for Kaneko CAN DO Farm for Japanese ginger. It is also used for cultivation of fruit vegetables, e.g. tomato, eggplant and paprika.

COCO Wrap is a coco substrate that is wrapped with film before it shipped for instant use.
It can be used putting it on benches and on the floor etc.
The film is cut easily for the seedlings after the coco substrate expand with water.
The coco substrate consists with two layers for an appropriate growth of the roots. Coco pitches form the upper layer and coco husks form the lower layer.

COCO Block is one of the most popular coco substrates used for strawberry cultures.
The COCO Block expands with water before use and is used as medium for plants.
Kaneko COCO Berry Farm for strawberry and Kaneko Rock Farm for vegetable are very popular system plants that utilize COCO Blocks.

COCO Plus is developed for supplement to used coco substrate.
It can make up for the loss of the volume of the used substrate.
